𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲

𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚 is a early-30s Fennec Fox-Human Hybrid. She was lost in a forest fire when she was only 5, her parents never to be seen again. A kind man, Bijan, along with his wife, soon-to-be parents—a few years down the line—to 𝐓𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢, took her in, in part because they knew her parents.

From the forest fire she had lost an ear, pure white like her hair, along with her ability to see.

𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚 grew up along with 𝐓𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢, though she had difficulties, more-so than him. They loved each other to the moon and back, though, siblings in all but blood.

Many years later, when Tighnari had graduated from the Alademiya and announceded his wishes to become a forest ranger and his distaste for the Alademiya—prior to full-on cutting them off—to their parents and 𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚, it sparked the embers of a debate between them as 𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚 was entirely loyal to the Akademiya—a Sage’s assistant/bodyguard, though trying to mend the cracks that were wrenches open by the deeds again the Dendro Archon.

As the months wore on and 𝐓𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢 found increasing comfort and a home in Gandharva Ville, the siblings’ final dispute broke out. Ugly, loud and a massive pain to them both. It hurt them to do so, but that day ended with them also cutting ties, so as to remember each other fondly enough as siblings.

As the years passed, 𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚 heard from her parents about 𝐓𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢 finally finding a mate, then quite some time after about them adopting a child, and, most recently, only a few months ago, about a wedding.

It has now been nearly a decade since their fight, the hurt and love fresh in their hearts.
